Dad is always looking for something great to do with all of us. The river dropped a little while we were there so he took advantage of the level by taking the boys for a very exciting tube run. Thanks Dad, the boys loved it!

Here are some pics from our visit. Probably one of the highlights of the boys visit was learning to drive an outboard motor.

We all like to catch the little critters around the lodge. This year we found toads, frogs, leeches (bait left by fishermen), snakes, and a turtle. The turtle was a snapping one and named appropriately. He was mean!

The fishing at the Lodge was incredible. Typically we visit after the fishing has dropped off because the weather is better later in the summer and the bugs are not as bad. However, this summer we lucked out and had great weather, the bugs weren't to bad, and the fishing was fantastic. And yes, I caught most of the walleye pictured! My Dad gave me the lucky pole every time we went out. Thanks Dad! And can you believe the size of that trout? Drew is holding one of Grandpa's pike. Cheers to great times fishing!
