We had a great time at the sand dunes on Saturday.
Drew found the best way to get back up the hill.

Keith won the big air contest.

Neil liked the bikes so much we might have to buy some.

Happy Easter

Easter was so fun at our house. We had a hunt Sunday morning with the kids before church and then our great neighbors invited us over for an afternoon hunt in their yard. Drew loved loved loved finding all of the hidden "easters". Neil thought it was great too, but mostly just like to find an egg with jelly beans inside and shake it. We hope you all had a great Easter!

Drew and Neil had a great time playing in a down pour with our neighbors. Hooray for spring!

Strawberry Days

I bought 4 flats of strawberries. 4 flats of strawberries = 22 quarts of freezer jam, 15 chocolate dipped delights, 3 gallon bags of frozen whole berries for summer smoothies, 2 quarts crushed berries for pancakes and vanilla ice cream topping, and 2 happy little boys who ate them until their bellies almost burst!

This is ice on our bathroom window this morning. We are expecting 4 inches today. I guess we'll have to go out and play!

can't be fooled

Drew likes to read books. He also likes to memorize the words on each page. So while reading Keith likes to occasionally insert words that are close but not exactly right. Drew always notices and then proceeds to correct him. Here they are reading about Lehi's family getting the boat ready to go to the promised land. (This game actually started because Keith was reading to him and when he missed a word or summarized something Drew corrected and told him verbatim what it was supposed to be.)
