let them eat cake

As most of you who read this blog know, Becky (my youngest sis) is getting married on Friday and she asked me to do this cake. I grabbed some flowers out of my garden to spruce it up and make it look more than just big and white. So here is my trial run with my new cake pans, cake leveler, and my sweet skills. Neil asked me if it was a huge pile of ice cream and was a little disappionted to find out it was just cake. Drew was dissapointed to see that it was only one teir and then proceeded to stack my cake pans into a 4 teired tower and told me that was the cake he wanted for his birthday. (That cake would need about 6 cake mixes and 15 cups of icing- can you imagine?) However, by the end both boys said it looked good. Thanks boys.
We are eating it today for dessert with some friends. I guess we need a trial run for eating the cake too.
